oshawk 1.2.1 is out, it's a bug fix release. Please see the change log for detailed information. We've fixed the handling for DataTables on the main page and network check issues.

Merry Christmas! oshawk release 1.2 is there! The new release contains a big change for the oshawk main page, we're using now DataTables to display peers. This should bring some big improvements for users using oshawk to monitor a large number of peers. Among other changes and bug fixes we have adapted oshawk to work well with Solaris 11. We have switched to a more recent OpenSSL version for that reason, please see chapter 3 of the handbook if you run into any problems while upgrading oshawk. We wish you all a happy new year 2012!

oshawk release 1.1 is out! It brings substantial improvements of the performance of the networking capabilities of oshawk making now communication with a very large number of peers very fast. We have also added a new check and it is now possible to deactivate mail notifications for check changes that were caused by user actions. And we fixed a couple of bugs, as usual see the change log for more details. In the next oshawk release we will improve the GUI main page to make the handling of large number of peers more comfortable.

The day has come! We're excited and very proud to release version 1.0 of oshawk. Go get it from the download page. We're sorry for the delay of the release, the final bug hunting took us in the end much more time than expected. That won't happen again! A detailed list of the fixed bugs can be found in the change log.

oshawk 1.0beta11 is out, we're pleased to announce the newest oshawk release! It contains some GUI improvements and bug fixes, as always see the change log for more details. This will be the last beta versioon of oshawk. The final version 1.0 is scheduled for mid June, it'll have some improvements for the oshawk mailer and some major performance enhancements. Stay tuned.

We're happy to annouce that oshawk 1.0beta10 is out! Get it from the download page. The release took a bit more time than usual but there are some interesting improvements as reward. All the details are in the change log.

oshawk 1.0beta9 is out! You can grab it from the download page. We have added some new checks to oshawk and you can now draw chart files for more than one oshawk peer. See the change log for a full overview of all new features, changes and bug fixes.

We're very proud to release oshawk 1.0beta8! It's available at the download page and as always make sure to have a look at the change log to see what cool new features we have added (you can add properties to peers now and the inventory report has been greatly improved).

Some changes have happened in the Solaris world recently. We're pleased to see that Solaris 11 is announced officially and we deeply regret to notice that OpenSolaris won't be continued anymore. And our best wishes go to the Illumos project! We here at OOoT will do our best that oshawk runs on any Solaris OS, whatever name it might bear ;-)

Goodbye derrick. Hello oshawk! The name has changed, everything else remains the same. The new version 1.0beta6 comes again with new features and a handful of bug fixes. See the change log for the details. We have also updated the screenshot section with some cool pictures from the new 1.0beta6 version.

We're proud to release the new derrick beta version 1.0beta5. A new report type for peer up and down times is available now and a few new checks have been added. Plenty of bugs are fixed with this release resulting in a smoother and more mature user experience. As always check the change log for details.
